Visit of the Deputy of General Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade to Artaweel Tire and Sabalan Razi Industrial Complexes

 

Emphasis on Government Support for Domestic Production and Removing Obstacles in the Tire Industry

According to the Public Relations Office of Artaweel Tire Industrial Complex, Dr. Ebrahim Sheikh, Deputy of General Industries at the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade (MIMT), accompanied by a delegation of ministry officials and Dr. Sadeghi, Director General of MIMT in Ardabil Province, visited Artaweel Tire and Sabalan Razi Industrial Complexes.

During the visit, the ministry officials toured various production and support departments to observe firsthand the latest production status, technical capacities, and existing challenges in the development of these industrial units.

Dr. Sheikh, appreciating the continuous and sustainable performance of these complexes under difficult economic and sanction conditions, stated:

"Artaweel Tire Industrial Complex is a successful example of sustainable production in the country. Despite limitations, it continues to operate strongly. In line with the policies of the 13th government and Dr. Pezeshkian’s administration programs, the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade prioritizes supporting such complexes and will actively pursue the removal of obstacles in the production process."

He also highlighted the important role of this large private complex in the country’s tire supply chain and promised that executive support, financial facilities, and necessary coordination to accelerate the resolution of infrastructural and financial challenges would be prioritized.

During the visit, Dr. Masoud Ganji, CEO of the complex, presented a report on production and sales, emphasizing the need to support genuine producers:

"Outstanding receivables from automakers, which have exceeded 700 billion Tomans, have put significant pressure on the company’s liquidity. Once these debts are settled, there will be considerable potential to increase production, create jobs, and expand the market."

Additionally, Dr. Sheikh assured that the issues raised regarding the trade system would be seriously pursued and resolved.

Artaweel Tire Industrial Complex and Sabalan Razi Company, as two of the largest tire manufacturers in the country, play a crucial role in meeting domestic market needs and expanding exports by leveraging modern technology and skilled human resources.
